History

It was in 1989 at the famous and colorful city of Los Angeles, California where all this started. Mr. Jesus Avila(Founder) and his son Raul Avila(CEO and Founder) had worked in many turning workshops and got lot of experience in the area, one day Mr. Avila(Jesus) decided to put on work his habilities by himself mixing the traditional wood work with good lathe use tactic resulting in a detailed, well done and of the best quality work, was there when Raul took the decision to join this father motivated by the determination that his father had shown to start his own business and make something different. Nowadays Avila Woodturning Workshop is nationally recognized as experts in the art and craft of working wood materials,reaching great companies such as Disneyland and luxury hotels.
